CCA
CCA (Copper, Chromium, Arsenic) is a waterborne preservative impregnated into timber under pressure, offering protection against fungi and decay. This treatment, in use for over 70 years, provides a lifespan exceeding 20 years. CCA-treated timber is odorless, easy to handle, and environmentally safe as it does not leach into soil. Additionally, the timber can be painted with appropriate coatings.
Beware of timber that has not been properly treated. Check for the ACT stamp of certification on the nail plates and ensure that you are purchasing certified timber. Unfortunately, the market is flooded with untreated timber that offers no preservative value and will not last a year in any application. Do not buy it!

All timber treatment is done onsite at our facility.
